You're giving the Texans too much credit. They gave Deandre Hopkins away for peanuts and gave away a ton for Tunsil. They're just not good at trades.

This issue is at the tip top. They've completely botched this hiring process and alienated the only reason why a good HC prospect would want the job.
They screwed the pooch and are going to pay for it because Watson is going to force their hand.

Doesn’t mean they’re going to do anything similar to what they did for Hopkins and Tunsil. That’s part of the reason why Bill was fired, so obviously they recognized that was stupid in hindsight.

All these reports get out and it really begins to damage the negotiating leverage.
I think they will get a relatively fair deal for Watson but not a Kings Ransom.

If he became available in 2-3 years when it was more possible, yes, I’d be interested, depending on the price.
