Tank or just blow it up like any other team does. Now we’re going to be stuck in a ton of BS for a while

First thing I can think of is how unfair that would be for Cam Jordan and even Demario to some degree

And tanking is dumb. We have a championship caliber defense.. if we find any type of rhythm on offense (fat chance, I know) we can compete for a playoff spot

I think they stumble through rest of season and if nothing gets better in 2 weeks, Pete is gone after Houston and before next home game.

Then after the season even if pete makes it, clean out offensive staff entirely, and Dennis gets one more year.

Not sure I'm 100% on board with that plan, but thats what is going to happen .

Does tanking in the NFL actually work? I’m not saying it can’t, but without true research it seems most organizations that suck, just suck a long time, regardless of intentional tanking. And they seem to be stuck there forever.

Tanking is sleazy and lazy.

This is a great question. I guess maybe the Colts for Luck? The Browns recently?

The issue in the NFL is tanking means you have to then hope that some amazing QB is coming to the draft. NBA tanking "works" because 1 player can legitimately change your team dramatically.

I agree with your comment about organizations that suck just always suck. There are some organizations who are fine with just cashing checks as long as the fans keep coming. Showing up the playoffs from time to time is a win for those organizations. The Washington Commanders are a team like that...maybe that finally changes.
