It hurts because you waste a roster spot, probably a starting role, on a guy with high probability of being suspended for multiple games.

Sure, I love violent woman beaters who are late for meetings. Hell, let's make him a team captain.

in making a case for a player the contract and cap implications are as, or perhaps more, important than the performance on the field. Even with his assholedness someone will overpay for a imposing pass rusher. Hardy will be too spendy even if wanted IMO. After the big change in locker room culture hoorah last year I cannot see them bringing in such risky negative influence.

So that's what was going on when Browner was screaming at him on the sidelines?

Pretty much. I heard browner wasn't much of a flusher.

No. Just no.

I'd rather go 0-16 than be an embarrassment off the field.

4. Urban Louisiana areas have the highest concentration of domestic violence offenders. He'll fight right in, and may I suggest that he live in the Brookstown neighborhood.

Demarcus Ware could potentially hit the market if he doesn't take a small pay cut. If that happens, in come Shaq Barrett and Shane Ray. Denver's pass rushers are plentiful.

Hardy would be a deadly weapon in New Orleans without a gun...
