Why rookie tight end Cam Serigne booked a one-way ticket to New Orleans for Saints tryout

If this guy can stay healthy he has the tools to play in the NFL.
"Serigne was first-team All-ACC in 2017 after posting 44 catches for 556 yards and nine touchdowns. He also finished his Wake Forest career as the ACC leader for catches (174), receiving yards (2,075) and receiving touchdowns (21) by a tight end."

We see articles like this every year that some camp body shows up super early, takes an uber, buys a one way ticket, and etc. I doubt he will make it past the first round of cuts ,but hey gotta love the enthusiasm.

Long shot. A bit undersized, slow and not a blocker. Would need to prove he is a great route runner and pass catcher as well as a standout on special teams to even get a shot.
