Why not have Ingram and Kamara in the game at the same time?

More often.
If our weakness is #2&3 WR’s?
Why do we go for two points way too early way too often?
Why do we seemingly never have timeouts at the end of games?
Why do we throw so many ridiculous challenge flags?
When will we realize that stupid play calling on offense isn’t edgy and over the top smart?

Saving that part of the playbook for the playoffs.

I’d like to see Kamara line up in the slot with Ingram and hill in the backfield

I really like to think Payton is saving our money plays for the playoffs. We can't put in the winning formations too soon... but this isn't Madden soooo... I just think Payton is overthinking everything.

You sure ask a lot of unanswerable questions.
Posted on 12/18/18 at 3:12 pm to Rohan Gravy
why are you melting when we have the best record in the NFL and can clinch home field advantage with one more win?
why?
why?
Posted on 12/18/18 at 3:16 pm to Rohan Gravy
We do that pretty often. The better question is why isn't Ingram getting at least 18-22 carries a game?

Hoping you are correct.
I’m not trying to be negative because it’s not in my nature.
I really think this is our year again.
Everything is falling in place for the #1 seed ....
Two playoff games at home in the dome and The Super Bowl in a dome stadium.
I just don’t want us to do something stupid to eff it up.

If our weakness is #2&3 WR’s? I'm assuming this is one question. Probably because although Ingram is great at Screens, Swings, and Checkdowns he isn't near as polished of a route runner as our existing #2 or #3 receiver.
Why do we go for two points way too early way too often? I have never seen this. We usually go for two when it can turn a 5 or 6 point lead into a 7 or 8 point lead. This is common practice in the NFL
Why do we seemingly never have timeouts at the end of games? Combination of Payton spends too long calling plays and sometimes Brees takes to long to set the offense after getting a read from the defense from the motions. Just the way the offense is set up. Run a guy in motion if it looks like man run this, zone then run this. Takes a little time and occasionally it bites us
Why do we throw so many ridiculous challenge flags? Sean Payton is terrible at challenges this has been consistent his whole time here. But we have a Superbowl and about to lock up HFA in the playoffs in his 13th year here. I'll take it.
When will we realize that stupid play calling on offense isn’t edgy and over the top smart? Well 90% of everyone that watches the NFL will agree Sean Payton is arguably the best play caller in the NFL. So based on that fact, what Rohan Gravy defines as "stupid" is probably wrong.

Payton's #1 weakness is his ability to challenge.
He challenges shite he has no shot to win. Best case scenario is that the announcer will say "it might have been a catch but there isn't enough evidence to overturn the call."
Then later in the game when an obvious challenge is there to be made, he is out of challenges.

Was watching a game this past week and the announcer said the coach has had 3 challenges all year. I was thinking damn we probably used 3 by the second game

This is what I keep telling myself as I've been watching the offense lately.
"We're saving our playbook for the playoffs....we will be better once we're back in the Dome...."
God I hope I'm right.

Best challenge success rates among head coaches, 2017
1. Jay Gruden, Washington Redskins: 2-3 (66.7%)
2. Caldwell: 2-3 (66.7%)
3. Sean Payton, New Orleans Saints: 2-3 (66.7%)
4. Shanahan: 5-8 (6.25%)
For his career is is 44/103 which is around average as far as success rate goes. Most seasons he is right at 50% with the aberrations being 2007 (2/11) and 2008 (5/15).

Where do you find the challenge stats?
All I could find was a table for 2017 that had SP at 2/4 last season (2/6 including playoffs).

My mistake, last seasons stats was from an article written in December. Other than that pro-football reference.

Kamara would be the slot WR not Ingram.
I have no answer for the “fact” that your never seen the Saints going for two, too early.
It was common practice that coaches on every level went for two because their formula on their card said ....go for two
They were so fricking stupid, they would do it in the first quarter of games.
And we do it way too often.
My opinion.
One reason we never have timeouts left is the stupid challenges.
Answers next question also.
Also, Bill Bilichik seems to have 2-3 timeouts at the end of every game.
Stupid play calling?
Sean Payton has had play calling taken away from him before.
The Tuna told him if he wanted to win playoff games he better start running the ball.
We beat the Eagles in Philly cause we ran the ball.
I think this might be Sean Payton’s best coaching year.
But he will frick up and last night was one of those frick up games.
I hope he got it out of his system.

If asking asinine rhetorical questions is cool, consider Rohan Gravy Miles Davis.

Was having a hard time finding a source that reflected more than one season or part of a season.
