The defense attorney will no doubt argue that Kamara is not responsible for the actions of his group, nor is he the reason the orbital bone was fractured. There is some wiggle room.

I see him getting suspended, guy he beat up get paid alot, and he loses some endorsement deals. We haven't even hit off-season for the NFL so expect other things to happen and people will forget about this by the summer. It's his 1st time getting in trouble we know about being with the Saints I expect them to tell him to seek help and warn him last chance.

Yeah, you could be right.
I don't know enough about the law, bc early reports stated he punch the guy 8 times, but one of the friends later stomped his face 16 times, which is the likely real source of the fractured orbital socket.
Question is, can/will he be charged equally for being part of the group that resulted in serious bodily harm, much like multiple robbers are all charged for murder when only one dipshit didn't follow the plan & actually killed somebody? If so, Kamara could be in a pickle, not just probation.

Where are you all getting this from? They will settle this out of court. The dude will be paid off and charges will be dropped.
Only punishment will be from the NFL

If you believe ESPN's account of the video, there is a massive amount of wiggle room legally. So much so, its unlikely he even sees a courtroom, much less serves any time.
From an NFL standpoint, nothing at ALL matters legally as one person and one person only will decide his fate. And of course that is Roger Godell.

Posters here keep trying to bring this up as some kind of “gotcha” and it’s just fails.
In college I was in a bar scuffle. Frat dude swung on a friend of mine and a giant pile up ensued. Fight was broken up and everyone was standing around, shite talking. Some giant baw comes up behind my friend and is looking to just sucker punch him from behind. I see it and basically clothesline the dude. That’s right there is an action that could have turned the scuffle into something else entirely.
We all left with torn shirts, a black eye, and bloody noses but that was it. It was over.
It’s honestly not even comparable to what Kamara and his friends did.

I don't understand why he didn't just let his entourage handle it. If you're a professional athlete, you should know better...and your entourage should know that you know better. Clearly his entourage was ready to throw, so AK really had no business being involved. Even most (not all) college athletes, as immature as they are, know better.
With that said, I don't think AK gets off easy from a legal standpoint. Even if he doesn't do time, he'll likely have a felony charge, fines, strict probation, and a civil suit. It may string out awhile before it's all settled.
I don't agree with cutting him right from jump. Let the legal matters play out and hope for the best. It's February. The NFL season isn't over. Have a plan but don't make any quick decisions.
