When after he serve his suspension there will be 30 teams trying to sign him. Why can’t he just serve his suspension and stay on our team? The guy had 1 bad incident in Vegas

what other choice is there unless you want to eat all that contract money and cap space.

they now have cause to walk away clean and clear from owing him anything and he may be in a situation where he will be out even longer then deshawn watson

its not like he will just be suspended 3-4 games over this, get real

Look, the guy only beat a guy unconscious with a group of his friends, but he scores TDs for my favorite ball team. I mean come on guys, it's not that big of a deal because I cheer for him.

Edit: For the record I hope selfishly we don't cut him, but I won't be surprised if we do. What would happen to any of us if our employer found out we were arrested for felony battery?

Someone made the point that Kareem hunt got a 6 game suspension for hitting a woman. Chiefs cut him and another team signed him. Nothing is said about the other team signing him so why should something be said for us keeping him?

It started out as just 1 on 1, his friends jumped in. It’s not like the guy was getting his arse kicked and Kamara decided to sucker punch him

Yeah from all accounts I've read that's not what happened.

Allegations over actual video evidence.

Also how did Deshaun do this year?

kamara committed a felony assault, on video, and it could be argued, it was with intent to kill, the way it went down.

these are NOT the same situations even remotely

We’ll see, just don’t make sense to cut a guy when 30 other teams will try to sign him after

30 other teams may not be trying to sign him because he very well may be in jail or serving a very long suspension.

I don't think he is done being in the NFL. Never said that.

What an ugly thing to say. You better be glad me and my boys aren't with you ;)

I was worried about AK some, but I just read this...

"Kamara told officers Greene called one of his friends ugly and threatened to beat somebody up, according to the police report."

I agree. Joe Mixon knocked out a girl, Hunt kicked a girl, Adrian Peterson beat his kid into the hospital, Antonio Brown is the worst employee of all time and still found 4 teams.

Off the top of my head, about the only one who never recovered from a scandalous brawl, who still had in-his-prime talent that teams covet, is Ray Rice. His career was over immediately.

Because im relatively sure some of the guys that want him cut may have been in a sketchy bar fight in their day as well.

Not saying Kamara should be praised for knocking a dude out but im relatively sure guys like Kamara are tried by someone evertime they enter a club and you have guys running their mouths looking for a pay day.

Unfortunately, Kamara was just stupid enough to give him his.

Its also important to look at someones track record.

People acting like he was Ray Lewis and tampered with evidence during a murder.

I agree. Hitting a defenseless woman is a LOT worse than hitting a dude that by his own accounts instigated a verbal altercation before getting into a fight.

Kamara is an idiot in this matter, no doubt. It doesnt compare to beating your own girlfriend.

When a player is suspended their salary doesn't count against the cap. The prorated bonus portion would hit whether he's suspended or cut, so that's irrelevant.

If he gets put on commission's exempt list and misses a year, I believe the year is skipped and everything moves back 1 year. Probably worded that weird, but his contract will go from 2022-2025 to 2023-2026.

Also, his final year (4 years from now) is the big cap hit and has absolutely no guarantees tied to it, so that's an easy cut if his value drops. Next 3 years has an average cap hit of $14.4M ($3M is the signing bonus), and the 4th year is set at $25M
