Why do the tv networks keep saying Cowboys gave Saints a beatdown?

it was 13-10, that's hardly a beatdown. A beatdown is the 48-7 win the Saints had over the Eagles

Score was close. The game really wasn't.

They beat us and I think we'll be better for it.

It was our worst game of the year and we lost by 3. And had the ball at the end before the Brees pick. There wasn't a competitive game this year we were in a close enough position to win.

Drew Brees, Kamara and most of the o-line didn't play in that last game vs the Panthers

We won.

13-10 cowboys over saints at home is a beat down
12-9 saints over panthers on road is a sign to worry

Let's not discuss panthers 16-8 over cowboys

We won on the road against a desperate opponent?

People are so dumb and spoiled by our offense sometimes.

Physically, that was the toughest game the Saints had played. And that was the beginning of our offensive slump. The "defense wins championships" crowd isn't going to let that go.

Which all but ended once we returned to the dome. A place we don't have to leave for the remainder of the season.
