Why are we cheering for wins?

I’m seriously confused by my own actions. Why am I cheering for a win?
This is such an objectively shite product. A total lack of speed, talent, and coaching.
There’s no hope for anything but mediocre. None.
I’m having an existential crisis over here caring about trying to win.
We should be praying for rock bottom to wake this old owner out of her stupor. I can’t do that though.

Because when you’re watching the game you can’t help but cheer for your team or against your rival. But once the game is over, you can think more logically and realize in years like today every Saints loss, TB win, and Atl win; ultimately gets you that much closer to the long-term goal of a coaching staff reset and better draft pick

I guess because as crazy as it sounds, we can still win the division and make the playoffs.
Playoffs are a whole new season and who knows what can happen.
But yeah, this team needs to be gutted starting with upper management, then coaching, then players.

I feel your pain. I want them to win but I know it doesn’t mean shite if they do. Even if they win the division, they’re not going anywhere in the playoffs. The best outcome would be to lose every game, burn everything to the ground, and hope the new regime doesn’t screw up the high #1 pick.

Yep this teams ceiling is win a wildcard game. I remember years ago when the titans made the playoffs and still parted with their head coach. Can’t remember who it was, but that would be the ideal ending to the season.
