Geodert seems ready-made for this offense and has potential as a contributor from day 1.

I’d take the offensive weapon with the first pick considering the defensive acquisitions in FA. If anything, we could snag a DL in the 1st rd over a LB. Having said that, I think you will see marked improvement from the back seven this upcoming season. We don’t need a stone wall defense with this offense, and the addition of a real-deal pass catching machine at TE will make our red zone efficiency much better.

I take the TE. We have a lot better chance of Brees developing the TE into a special player than picking a LBer that isn't a bust.

I don't know what it is with the Saints but I would rather pick my linebackers up in Free agency.

I trust their eye on DL and Secondary, but LBers do not have a good track record. I also think that it is one of the hardest positions to project.
