Manning, but any team would be thrilled to have either of these guys.

in all seriousness the only reason i go with manning is because he is 5 inches taller....which in turn means less batted balls

Are we talking this year or career?

Because if it's career then it's no question, Manning. He's consistantly been good basically his entire career with one team, won a superbowl, numerous playoffgames, and MVP awards. That's not to say Drew can't do that, he just hasn't yet.

This year I really think Drew out-performed Manning. I think Drew got shafted with the MVP voting this year.

Manning, no contest. He looks like he's on a mission with how he dismantled the Jets.

Manning. But just imagine if Drew had played for NO under Payton since he was drafted. The answer wouldn't be that clear cut.

Manning in my opinion will go down as the best ever.As for as Brees he's very good in this offense with the weapons we have.Put him with the Colts this year I don't think they are Miami Bound.JMHO

"Klingler7" was chosen because I graduated with Katie Scofield who later became Mrs. David Klingler. Both David and Katie have given their hearts and time to God and are two people whom I respect a great deal for spreading God's word.

I mistakenly predicted he'd be a star in the NFL. Nice to hear he has something else going on.

Manning. It's hard to hate Peyton but I swear if I hear the commentator's mention how the O Coordinator sends Manning "concepts" instead of plays, I'll go crazy. They've been mentioning that every Colt's game the past 4 years.

Brees bitches at himself after an incompletion, Manning bitches at everyone else. Manning has a crucial height advantage. The Brees back shoulder throw is the most indefensible in football. Manning is the audible king, but he routinely audibles into turds nonetheless. Manning has had a better career.

But give them both 4 seconds in the pocket and does it honestly matter? Saints fan so Brees.

with you on that one....i could have sworn he could read a defense's mind (ETA - except a Greg Williams led Saints defense)

He's never thrown anyone under the bus. Much ado about nothing.

It's Manning, no matter what the criteria (unless the criteria pertains to archery and science).

Manning may just be the best player (not just QB), ever.

That said, I love Brees and would take him over Brady (system QB), Rivers, Rogers, Warner (in his prime), Favre, or anyone else still playing football (that is, of course, if Warner and Favre are still considered "playing").
