He's a huge reason for Michigan State's success on defense. Very smart hard nosed player. I'd LOVE to see the Saints pick him up.

Bodine 4th and then Bullough and Howard Jones in the 5th would be perfect

As a pure pass rusher he is very undersized.

It's near the end of the 5th round, anything is a project at that point

Also I like the ILB and S from Western Kentucky

I'm not talking project. He's just straight up too small to be an effective edge rusher at this level. It's one thing to be a little small, but it's another to be way too small.

If he was more than just a pass rusher that would be another thing, but that's what it does! That's all it does!

That's All It Does!

I've glanced at Tripp before but haven't really looked into him until now. I think he's another great option.

There's other guys too, but man I'd love to get Christian Jones.

Skov or Jones in the 4th
And then a center in the 5th

I really want us to draft LaDamaian Washington from Mizzou in the 7th round. Dude is a freak athelete with tons of speed and is huge. Not a good route runner but he can be taught that. But I want Christian Jones the most of any player left.

Would have to take him in the 6th as we are without a 7th(or trade back in).

Christian Jones

This is the type of LB we need. He's not blazing fast but he is still fast for a LB. Can definitely blitz, can legit rush off the edge with pass rush techniques, can definitely tackle and play the run(he leads with his shoulder AND wraps up), and can play coverage in both zone and man.

I think he can come in and immediately replace Hawthorne. If we don't get him I will be extremely disappointed. There are other guys, but they ain't him.

After Mosley and Shazier, he is my guy. There are actually things he does better than Shazier(but man that speed).

Another bonus is he played legit LB and also played DE last year so he fills both roles in one guy(not as an every down rusher, but much like Butler only better overall).

He's basically both those guys in one.

Don't really understand the want for De'Anthony Thomas at this point. If we get a back, I feel like he should be bigger.

C - Wesley Johnson , Brian Stork
G - David Yankey , Cyril Richardson
T - Antonio Richardson , Cameron Fleming
ILB - Shayne Skov , Lamin Barrow
OLB - Telvin Smith , Chris Smith
DE- Jackson Jeffcoat , Taylor Hart , James Gayle

Some of these DE's could be an OLB.
If I had my choice of any of the above I would go with C-Wesley Johnson for the 4th round pick. He is a freak athlete, can play any line position, smart and super durable.

Yeah Cooks is the dynamic playmaker we were looking for so Thomas really would be a waste IMO since we have other more pressing needs.

If we can get an C that also has flexibility along the line then I would think that would fit our needs best. Next just general depth at any of the Def spots would be desirable IMO.

Meh we have Cadet, if he doesn't work out there will always be players like DAT Thomas in the draft that we can have next year. We need C and ILB. I do believe we would be fine with Skov or Jones. Skov is more like Lofton but can potentially be better. He's huge, plays the run very well and is a liability in coverage.

I don't think Jones will be there when we pick

I don't think he will be there either.

If he is it's a must-pick IMO
