I believe it's not an option in the playoffs. Home team wears their (allocated)home jersey, away team wears their (allocated) away jersey. In the regular season it's the home teams choice (home, away, variation, or throwback) on what Jersey to wear and they must make the league aware by a certain time. Im pretty sure that's the reason we wore white in the superbowl...colts were the "home" team. I believe there are requirements to the number of games they must wear each of their approved uniform combinations.

We've had a trend of starting the season at home wearing white & gold. Dunno why, but I think it's fine. I just can't wait to see those sweet throwbacks again.
