Ok, so it's pretty apparent that even if Jesus Christ played for LSU and won the Heisman Payton and Loomis wouldn't draft him. They seem to have the market cornered on Ohio State players so who do you think they'll target this year?

We haven’t drafted an Ohio state player in 3 years. Sean had a good relationship with Urban but he is gone now.

Bruh, do you even ‘64 is eligible’ Will Clapp?!

That being said, I wouldn’t mind KJ Hill as a late round WR pick.

But you’re still an idiot!

Okudah and Young. But they'll go 21&22 picks ahead of us.

Malcolm Jenkins came back. He counts as a Buckeye, but with Apple gone it’s a wash. It’s time for another.

7th round picks are an afterthought. I'm talking day 1 and day 2 picks. But, yes, you are right. I may be stupid, but I'm no idiot! LOL...

This board's obsession with the Saints drafting or non drafting of LSU players is one of the most bizarre things I've ever witnessed. Calm down, We drafted Will Clapp 2 years ago.

The staff is doing what's best for the organization. They have a board. They choose the best player available on their board with each pick. Who the frick cares where the guy went to college?

You have to trust your scout on a guy. The same people who come on here and post "In Ireland and Mickey we trust" are the same ones who type "Saints have a vendetta against LSU Players!! Sean and Mickey hate the tigers!!"
This is the most exhausting narrative and I really hope it dies down soon

My question really isn't out of obsession, more so, it's out of fascination that LSU puts TONS of top level talent into the NFL year in/year out and they are just 80 miles up the road from NOLA. The coaches all know each other. I guess its just the luck of the draw. There are tons of college players available who can play. I'm old enough to remember the big let down when the Saints didn't pick Bert Jones.

I'm also fascinated by the amount of OSU players that are picked by the Saints or find their way to the roster.

Well prior to Michael Thomas and Vonn Bell, we hadn't picked an OSU player since 09. We picked Al Woods (LSU) in 2010

I don't think this has any relevancy to be honest.

It doesn't. Loomis has said publicly regarding LSU players "We want to, believe me." There's 31 other acting entities at the NFL draft. You can only control so much
