I'd like to see the first 4-5 picks go all defense. The offense wasn't the issue last year at all, sure an OJ Howard or Njoku would be nice vs Fleener or whatever other tight ends thrown out there but Thomas,Snead,Ginn is enough imo offensively with Drew at QB.

The D line has some talent with rankins, jordan, fairley, kruger. It would be nice if the linebackers and secondary could be shored up.

11.Ruben Foster might drop bc of his combine outburst, nutjob, but hell of a talent
32. Jabrill Peppers
42. Tre'davious white or desmond king
76. Carroll Phillips - first round talent guy but like randy gregory goes alot lower bc of potential headaches.

I just feel a defensive 11 of

Kruger,Fairley,Rankins,Jordan
Phillips,Foster,Ellerbe
Tre'davious,Peppers,Vaccaro,Breaux

would be as good or better as last years falcons D with alot of young pieces. The defense has to be addressed bigly in this draft, would be nice to see them go all in on it.

Peppers in intriguing. What if we used him how the Rams use Mark Barron?

Yes please!
That would be a great draft

Would rather another edge rusher (more of a speed guy, true 3rd down pass rush type guy cuz Soloman is more of an all around DE, almost Cameron Jordan-ish) in those top 76 but Zach Cunningham would be too good to pass up at 42 but I don't think he would be there but if he is, definite take

And I like DeDe Westbrook at 76 and another WR would be fine now without Cooks but another DE/true edge rusher in the top 103 would be nice

Dream draft is not realistic. My dream draft goes as follows.

Trade 2018 first round pick and 2017 second round pick for no. 18

11. Malik Hooker
18. Sidney Jones
32. Taco Charlton
76.Ahkello Witherspoon
Other 3rd round pick. Demarcus Walker

More realistic draft?

11. Solomon Thomas
32. Marlon Humphrey
42. Marcus Williams
76. AhKello Witherspoon
Other 3rd round pick. Kendell Beckwith.

Use that 32 pick to get Stephon Anthony type talent. Who needs a 4.3 burner?

Just a note, we don't have Kruger and didn't seem eager to want him back. I think we go in a different direction this year (or the one we were going in before Kikaha got hurt, plus a draft pick).

Other side note, Foster took himself off of our board with his outburst. We have been clearing the locker room of those types and Payton is clearly only getting more serious about it after moving Cooks.

He's gonna go Coughlin on their asses now.

No doubt. I'm beginning to question whether that might begin to hurt the team, though.

Hopefully we can get Thomas or Barnett at 11

Then snag Jones or Humphrey or White at 32. Surely 1 of them will fall.

I dont know why everyone hates peppers, sure he was overrated all year and early on as a top 10 pick, but at 32 he would be a steal. Those hybrid types are very valuable today in that he can cover a tight end or a receiver and even return kicks.

11. Solomon Thomas - DE to play opposite Cam Jordan. Ran in the 4.6s so I don't buy into the he isn't a speed rusher. I think he is a all around DE and that will work well with our interior pass rush from Fairley and Rankins.

32. Jabril Peppers - Overated some and have to find a role for him but Too talented to pass up at 32. Value in the return game.

42. Tre White - CB to compete with the returning guys. Hopefully we bring in a Veteran to start opposite Breaux and let White ease in.

76. Curtis Samuel - Sproles like player we been missing on our offense.

103. Duke Riley - Linebacker depth and competition. Special teams Value.

196. Joe Mixon - 2nd round talent and would be a great Backup RB to Mark Ingram.

229. Deatrich Wise Jr - DE depth.
