The decreased usage of Taysom is connected to the Denver decision? I could see Mickey doing his old boss a favor. Given the dead cap number, a QB like Hill would be all they could afford.

I mean they may trade for Taysom at some point but i dont think its that deep. Dennis is just not a bright guy.

Pretty sure his decreased usage is because our entire coaching staff sucks nuts. It’s too obvious that he’s a positive when he touches the ball so they don’t see it. We win the lions game if they just keep giving him and Kamara the ball.

You do realize that Taysom is one of those guys that Loomis has to do some Loomising with. He has a 2024 cap hit of $15.8M. If he's traded or cut before 6/01, that cap hit jumps to $16.9M. All of that dead money is due to pushed off bonus money that has already been paid/received.

Hasn't he been a bit banged up and even missed some practices as well? We all love the way he runs, but it takes its toll

Don't give Dennis or Mickey that much credit to plan that far ahead, plus even though Dennis is an idiot it does not make sense for him to sideline Taysom for that purpose while we are still vying for a playoff spot.

It's because he's been banged up. Also the last few times they've tried QB power he got stuffed. It does seem to throw off Carr's rhythm as well

This is overblown. How is Carr coming out for 1 play any different than when the QB has to hand the ball off, or when they've been sitting on the sideline for an extended period because the defense is struggling?

If Loomis makes another deal with the devil

His fate will be locked in and irreversible

He can still pretend that the Loomis, payton, Brees circle jerk didn’t exist

Old Boss? Mickey worked for Seattle before coming to the Saints in 2000. Not sure who his boss was there. When he started with the Saints his boss was Randy Mueller, currently the director of player personnel for the Seatle Sea Dragons in the XFL.

What has any of that got to do with Denver? Or are you talking about his old employee?
