Don’t get me wrong.
What was the past
is a distant song.
Buddy D and Hap
are echoes of the past.
But in our hearts they
are forever steadfast.
Abdul and others sang the
chorus.
Oh, how entertaining and
joyous.
Thanks for the memories
all you nameless fans.
Living or departed
you got it started.
And for all the ardent
Saints fans,
I humbly stand
and clap my hands.

I remember he was originally Abdul the tent maker. Bubba was another one. I remember my 5th grade teacher was called The Professor

Abdul the tent maker was a legend. Loved his songs that he woukd play while on with Buddy D. Got to meet him one time when he wanted pics with me before a game with a sign I had at the time. Great guy and a true fan.

I remember walking into the mall on Loyola and seeing Buddy D and WWL set up with Abdul singing his songs on the live pre-game show then going to the food court or maybe even Hi-Tops if we had time. Then exiting right there next to the current Champion's Square stage and walking to the Dome. That was some frustrating years with this organization.

Yall need to listen to hold the mayo podcast 30 minutes after saints games on YouTube. It reminds me of buddy deliberto's radio because you have people being able to speak their mind. NOT letting one person say their 10 seconds of thought, mute them, and then go to commercial for 30 minutes. 870 is trash and this is a way better alternative.

Abdul the Tentmaker.
I have one of his compact discs stashed away somewhere.
He was a character.
I also miss Sid from Jefferson although he was a nut.
And Bubba on the Magic Carpet. I wonder if he has given up hope yet this year.

You must know Devin Snow to be advertising his podcast. It's alright, I pissed him off once because I told him he sucks at talking about combat sports and should quit doing it. But he knows his Saints football.
