I borrowed the roster from lsudave1 in a previous post, who did a great job in listing the players by position.

QB
Drew Brees, JT Barrett

TE
Ben Watson, Josh Hill

WR
Michael Thomas, TreQuan Smith, Cameron Meredith, Ted Ginn

RB
Mark Ingram, Alvin Kamara, Terrance West, Zach Line

OL
Ryan Ramczyk, Max Unger, Larry Warford, Terron Armstead, Andrus Peat, Jermon Bushrod

DE
Alex Okafor, Cam Jordan, Hau’oli Kikaha, Marcus Davenport, Trey Hendrickson, George Johnson

DT
Sheldon Rankins, David Onyemata, Tyeler Davison, Jay Bromley

LB
AJ Klein, Alex Anzalone, Demario Davis, Craig Robertson, Manti Te’o, Nate Stupar, Jayrone Elliott

CB
Marshon Lattimore, Ken Crawley, PJ Williams, Patrick Robinson

S
Marcus Williams, Kurt Coleman, Vonn Bell, Natrell Jamerson

ST
Wil Lutz, Thomas Morstead, Taysom Hill, Justin Hardee

I think our offense is pretty damn near as good as it can be, minus depth on the O line.

On defense, we will be improved but I would like a legit CB#2, a proven DE opposite Cam Jordan and better quality at the safety position since we run a lot of three safety packages.

If you could bolster just one position, what would you target?

Another Pro Bowl caliber WR across from MT is what’s preventing this offense from being absolutely unstoppable. Meredith and Smith have potential but not ready to proclaim them difference makers. A big time TE would have opened things up as well

I've highlighted the only players that I'm very confident in. Everyone else is a weakness either through poor play, inconsistent play, inability to stay on the field, or just unproven imo.

I wish we could’ve gotten a big time DT, linebackers are loaded, secondary is deep

Wouldn’t be mad if we sign dez to a cheap deal

Rankins has been inconsistent. And I really haven't seen Davis but once and he didn't have a good game. I hear a lot of hype for him but I'd prefer to see it with my own eyes first.

Davis tackle totals are

107
116
90
99
135

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see he is the most consistent lb we have, and one of the most consistent lb in the nfl.

Rankins consistently ate double teams up.. you are high

TE is the answer. Next, I would say WILL because of Anzalone’s injury history.

High tackle numbers can be misleading. Davis has had his ups and downs, but is coming off his best season.

I believe garbage can, Paul Worrilow, was close to leading league in tackles for Falcons one year.

I do not see a "weak spot" position wise on this roster.

TE will get a lot of votes but while it may not be a strong cast they are veterans and anything but weak.

If there’s a “weak” spot at all I’d say tight end. I feel like basically every level both offensively and defensively is solid at worst and elite at best. I think the staff feels the same as evidence by trading up to upgrade at DE. It’s not like DE was a critical need they couldn’t have done without. They saw an opportunity to upgrade a position and took it, which is better than years past where it’s “well we suck at these 5 positions and need a starter”.

Lol, I didn’t even read the replies before I posted and then read yours afterward and thought that basically sums up everything I was thinking

As of now until proven otherwise I’d say a kick returner is our weak spot. TE might be our weakest spot but compared to many other teams we are still good there. I would say OT depth is a weak spot, but among starters, probably would have to be TE and kick returner.

I only listed Coleman because he had a great 2015 and a good 2016 but he took a step back last year, but he did play hurt for 2/3 of the season with a sprained MCL. He could turn into a quality starter for us if he could find an inbetween 15-16 Coleman. It was really an underrated position of need because Bell is not the answer.

I still don’t believe in Watson but there are much worse TE’s out there. And besides we have other weapons that I’m excited about (Kamara in Year 2, MT13, Meredith, Tre’Quan Smith). I feel like if Smith steps up and overtakes Ginn then Ginn could move into our full time KR guy. I see that as a way for him to extend his career.

Davis and Anzalone aren’t a top pair in the league but they’re above average. Even if Anzalone gets hurt again I have confidence between Klein, Teo and Robertson to fill in enough next to Davis to keep the unit above average.

We need another DT to pair with Rankins. David O is a decent player in spurts but we are one injury from being very below average at that spot.
