We all bought into the hype big time.

Ouch.
It’s very early and not worth getting panicked about, but…
This team looks like trash so far.
Falcons are running modern football on both sides. Blitzes, roll outs, misdirection.
Meanwhile Jameis is a deer in headlights and we are EXTREMELY vanilla on both sides. AK runs up the middle for 1 yard, slow developing plays, no screens, no slants, no misdirection. Passive defense with no swagger.
You have to have some small level of concern.

First game. Relax. I knew this game wouldn't be an easy win and that it was possible the Falcons win. The defense is new. The OLine is questionable. Jameis had 1 series in preseason. First time in a long time since DA headcoached. There was going to be alot of rust in this game. Next week vs Brady will be the test. If we start 0-2 you can get concerned. When the pundits hype a team beware. But you can't get a feel for a team after one game, especially the first game of the season. Everyone is going to say the Saints suck and Brady will kill us. Let's see how they respond.

The safeties are new. The defense is same ol. This is the Falcons man. Their whole team is new! The Saints can't block anyone! They can't stop the run anymore!

So if we stomp Tampa next week will everyone go back to saying the saints are SB bound? I took Atlanta +5.5. Anyone that thought we'd stomp the Falcons is blindly watching these teams.

It works when you have elite personnel but the o line is a problem.
I would've liked some bew blood on the offensive side of the ball.
Both lines have been horrible today.
