Trivia question: which team played in the Conference Championship more recently the Saints or the Browns?

We can be bummed out the Saints didn’t get Watson but the idea that he doesn’t care about winning and only about money is childish attempts to rationalize. You can be optimistic about you team but with Payton gone and Allen as HC this is no guarantee winner. NOT A ONE of you would turn down that type of money or take 65% of it so stop the whining and at least he didn’t go for Carolina or Tampa

Wait what? The browns last played in the AFC championship in 1989. Am I missing something?

Da frick does he care. He has a fully guaranteed contract. Whether he plays well or the team has success has no bearing on him. He getting his money no matter what.

They have a solid roster. Makes a hell of a lot more sense than ATL.

He got paid and has a talented team around him. I don’t understand how anyone can hate on him for this.

People who think Cleveland can’t win haven’t been watching football lately. The only reason they didn’t make playoffs last year was because of the qb. If they had played the backup they make playoffs easily.

Everyone seems to think highly of their GM and he built a really good roster. And they have a good coach. And they were willing to pay him. That’s basically everything any qb could ask for.

It sounds like he told them he wasn’t interested originally until he got the offer. It was all about the money.

Saints and Falcons both valued 5 years just under $200M with approx $140M guaranteed. Way off from Cleveland which is why it went down so quick. Cash as expected was the decider.

He's getting paid over 200 million for 5 years. They have a very good defense. Good running game, just added Amari Cooper. Could add a good receiver in the draft too. He didn't choose my team but he's not dumb in my opinion.
