I'm at Lagers right now. My drunk thread tonight will definitely be epic. I'm looking forward to not remembering it

Dude Greg Williams was a fricking awesome motivator! I love that audio.  We had those motherfrickers in the last 40 seconds in what was a comeback for the ages. It was an awesome game , best NFL game I ever watched. Except that we lost but a great game none the less. I gaurantee any NFL fan would agree!

Message Posted by OrangeCurtainTiger This has been going on since 2009, so even if he wasn't in the room on this 1 occasion, this does not give him plausible deniability.

I still don't understand how this even matters.

That speech sounded like something I would hear in the movies.

I guess your forgetting the fact that the defense played like garbage and didn't really hit anyone. He can yell all he wants. Get results.

You know the irony of all of this is that it was PT that got speared in the head, fumbled, and knocked out of the game...killed a promising drive that could have been the difference. And I wouldn't doubt the tackler got an extra $100 for the hit...

$100 for winning them a playoff game? Probably much more than that. And it probably wasn't player salary money which technically makes it an office pool and not a bonus because it doesn't affect cap.

Apparently in the NFL it is worse to have intent than to actually commit the crime. Whitner gets away with the hit because PT made a "football move" before getting hit. I guess lowering your head counts as a "football move" if you are playing the 49ers? From now on they will make sure to adjust when they pull their illegal hits to make sure they skirt the new rules and can legally cause concussions. Oh, wait. That is what the 49ers did all year and I don't doubt Harbaugh didn't coach 'em on how to do it.

Player safety my arse. They want a scapegoat. The NFL and Goodell can go to hell. No matter what they do we still win it all in the Dome. Who dat! Saints against the world.
