Well now I feel a little better about not making it. Although if we were still alive they’d probably pick someone else

I'll say it in this thread too, I guess

the 2 officials who ACTUALLY failed to make the call, Gary Cavaletto & Patrick Turner, will NOT be on this Super Bowl crew

I will believe this to be true

considering we didn't see Vinovich or any of the officials from that game during this season... I would have bet money Vinovich would not have been given this Super Bowl if the Saints were still playing this week

His wiki page has some interesting notes:

quote:

He was given this honor as a reward for carrying Roger Goodell's water in the Nola No Call and ensuring a Los Angeles team in the Super Bowl

He’s the head offical who was looking right at it. He can overide his entire crew.

He’s on record saying he didn’t see the play when video evidence shows he’s looking right at it. He’s in the replay.

I’m tired of even talking about it shite is obviously rigged. Just hope we can win another before you die and don’t get too worked about about the bullshite.

It would be nice to hear a recording from his headset during the Saints Rams Championship Game.

The fans would be treated to how the sausage is made.

Nothing like hearing live "points of emphasis" during the game.

On the infamous no call, I can hear NY saying the code words, "bang bang."

How come guys keep being rewarded for screwing the saints?

Dave Ceruello bounty gate. Gets high ranking NFL job

Vinovich is the SB ref the next year.

It’s obvious no coincidence but it will fall on deaf ears unfortunately nobody cares or sees it but us.

Was not bill’s call to make. That call is for the two guys who were right there staring at it.

Bill is caught on camera watching the flight of the ball and the hit.

Bill said he did not see the play.

Bill had an unobstructed live view of the play.

Patrick Turner was right on the sideline and appeared to want to throw a flag.

Gary Cavaletto ran up and overruled Turner with the words "bang bang."

Why did Cavaletto overrule a fellow ref that had a clear and obvious view of the play?

Why did Bill lie about seeing the play?

Why did Bill with clear authority on the crew fail to overrule Cavaletto?

Why is Bill being rewarded?

There was no dismissal or discipline of anyone on this California dreaming crew.

Why Hasn't the NFL Disciplined Gary Cavaletto and Patrick Turner for the “NOLA No-Call”? Redzone Report

If you want to see Bill watching the no call, where Turner and Cavaletto are standing and CSP reacting, the above link has pictures.

I haven’t seen one pic that proves he was looking at it. Bills job on that play is the QB.

You don’t have a clue how officiating works. Stop huffing and puffing and educate yourself Bubba. The two guys who were standing right there by the play are the ones who make the call. the ref standing behind the qb doesn’t call pass Interference on balls 30 yards Downfield. No matter what he sees. he also don’t call it on a play right In front of two other refs.

Bill is not 30 yards away. He is looking at the flight of the ball and the hit. Here is the link, Bubba Deliverance Challenged Person. RedzoneReport

He is the head of the crew and can overrule any officiated call.

Lead officials huddle and change calls. It's part of the job.

Go back to the NFL breakroom and have another cream filled donut.

Possibly. It’s scripted entertainment, which is why I don’t watch it. Football season ended Monday night.

The cop out of all cop outs. He was in charge of that crew. They could have easily discussed it and made the correct call.

He has no business working a super bowl, I feel bad for whichever team he fricks over.
