I think the scoring argument is out. So what if we score fast and often. If the other team runs, runs, runs, they will score often and slowly. Which is how you keep DB and the O off the field.

The first team that doesn't panic in the middle of the 3rd and start throwing and gets 1 or 2 three and outs on defense, will beat us. I don't want this to happen in the playoffs.

The 19-0 folks. If SP does a good job of convincing this team that we're all 0-0 at the start of the playoffs, then we'll be fine. I'm just worried that we'll start playing tight in the playoffs and get drummed out of the dance.

what I do know is that if you want to beat the Saints, you have to put more points on the scoreboard than what the Saints put up when the clock reads 00:00 at the end of the 4th quarter.

This is an excellent way to beat the Saints

Come to think of it, this is also an excellent way to beat a number of other football teams

So how does losing a game now counteract this? I don't get it.

Oh yeah, and I agree with the poster who said "winning breeds confidence" and all that good stuff.

Thank you Saint Nick for "quoting" that correctly. God knows we have a bunch of message board editors here.

You're smarter than every coach we've faced so far. Please . . . keep this under your hat.
