i would draft him..in later rounds. no doubt.

He will be a horrible pro! Trinoon Holloway with less speed and less muscle. He's NOT going to cause fumbles agai

Mathieu was a beast of a tackler, aggressive, big time play maker at attacking the ball in all phases of game, is a good blitzer and made plays happen doing it, is very quick and can be very good when played in space, a spectacular special teams returner as well as special teams tackler, dude is a good kid. Maybe i'm ignoring his "problems" out of my love for the kid but i'm definitely not overstating his talent on the field.

when you post, you say nothing of substance. your opinions have no substance nor substantiation. you portray yourself as saints talk bad guy. i put up with your shite cause thats the type of guy i am. now you want to cross the line on tyrann fricking mathieu... you've crossed the fricking line.

He's below average size, but has above average playmaker skills. This makes for a good college player. In the NFL players must have both.

And none of these guys present the Special Teams factor that Tyrann does.

Not to mention its pretty obvious your not going to match him up with the Calvin Johnson's or Fitzgeralds. He's best at the nickel/blitzer/returner role and I guarantee Spags would love to have him.

Adam "Pacman" Jones might be the best comparison skill set and size wise there is.
Posted on 11/29/12 at 11:27 am to Mouth
Well y'all shite all over that theory.
I'd love him with a 6th or 7th rounder. Even if he doesn't pan out it's not a big loss. And he has football instincts that are beyond rare.

I say give him a shot.
It's great for our state when players from Tulane and LSU play for the Saints.
