I'm not gonna get too excited until after I see him on the field. I think this could be an incredible move, but he could just as easily be a non-factor. Worst case you get him probably going beast mode for that trip to Dallas.

Yeah I’m hoping that if he lands here that he can at least be 2017 Dez and be effective for us. We really need another option. He doesn’t have to light the world on fire. But if gets 4-5 catches a game with 30-45 yards would be perfect.
If he does sign that means Payton saw something left in the tank. He wasn’t wrong about AP because he’s still playing well, he just didn’t fit our system.

Can't exactly recall where from, but there were reports stating just how much he has declined in separation the last season he played. I am sure you can attribute some of that to his QB and Offense he played in, but obviously some of his explosiveness is gone. I won't even touch the reports of how his route running was sub-par. I do hope very much so that he can be explosive and effective like his 2014 type production.
