I will never understand why so many of our fans crave the attention of national media. You think anybody associated with the Saints gives a damn what the national media thinks?

It's a disrespect thing. And yeah, people for the Saints care. Because it's a disrespect thing.

There's an assumption and rightfully so, that the news media, even for sports, should be fair, neutral and balanced. It's anything but. They cater to the largest fan bases and that's just not the Saints so the Saints get left out or shat upon.

It sounds like most media are favoring Rams
The national media picks are way over 50% in favor of the Saints.

You guys are funny.

Gotta kiss up to the big media markets, don’t forget. All about ratings.

So why is the national media overwhelmingly picking the Saints?

I’ve seen many picking the Saints. A pick of the Rams is not crazy, by the way.

The only 3 that standout:
Plaschke-LA writer who is often wrong
Kellerman-contrarian to Stephen A on a debate show (Stephen A has spoken very highly of the Saints all year)
Prisco-i have literally never seen him pick the Saints

Almost everyone else has said Saints are unstoppable in the Dome.

I watched several networks today.

FS1 and ESPN people were only picking the Saints because they picked them to be in the SB.. It was really pathetic.

Then on NFL network is was ALLL rams, which I found weird. Many said they have a far better roster.

Yes, a lot of people are picking the Saints in a toss up, but the media all day was very pro rams.

Perhaps they have been pro-Saints prior to today.. Idk. I am only going by what I've seen on tv and also all the youtube hype videos.

I agree with both statements.

However, today's media coverage was incredibly pro rams. Many straight up said they were the better team.

How are they the better team when the Saints beat them h2h?
Especially how are they clearly?? It was really annoying.

So now we're mad at ESPN because they picked the Saints to go to the SB?

Not mad whatsoever about that.

I just think it's pathetic to stick with a pick if you don't even agree with it.

I don't care who they pick, but to no longer believe a previous pick but stay with it.. is such crap.

Saints win then they say oh I told you so. Saints lose they say well I didn't like them and only stuck with my pick. I just find this sad. Just pick a team straight up right now and support it. Not this get credit either way stuff.

My complaint is how many were saying the rams were clearly the better team. That is my frustration.

Saints can shut that up with another win though, so it's all good.

The only reason he only had 68 is because the experienced an avalanche in the first half and had to abandon the run to get back in it. Hopefully that happens again, but this time without them coming back to tie it

That is fair, but still counts as holding their rushing down.

We need to get out in front again.

I don't care who picks what team. I would like to see the Saints get more respect defensively.

Even when they do bring the D up.. they say it was more about what Philly did wrong.. rather than the Saints shutting them down.. so it's a little frustrating.

The cool thing is we have the game tomorrow.

Because at 13 carries it means he averaged more than 5 yards per rush
