In general I don't think it makes sense to build an entire offseason around one team, but we need one more dude on the D Line who can get a serious push consistently. Goff was so bad under pressure all year. Not having Rankins in Rams game #2 really hurt us.

Agree to a point.

Yesterday/ last night definitely gave me a little closure.

To see the way our city reacted yesterday, combined with the actual game being the most unimpressive, meaningless, and boring Super Bowl I can ever remember.. It just felt right.

I love a good defensive game as much as anybody. Its one thing to have a low scoring game, but with some drama, or some impressive performances, momentum swings or big plays.
Outside of Julian Edelman playing a great game, you didnt see any of that. It felt more like I was watching two tired and rusty teams play the NFL's consolation Super Bowl. The one we got but not the one anyone necessarily wanted.

So yeah I think the take away is the best team doesnt always win. We come back next year with a huge chip, ready to kick some arse.

I'm waiting for these guys to trigger my final stage and outlook to free agency and the draft.

For those of you who supposedly won't be watching next year, what's your continued motivation for posting here? Not trying to hate, just wondering...

I’m sure many will still watch if possible. I’ll be busy coaching fallball so I will miss a bunch I’m sure. They just won’t makw their schedule around saints games anymore and won’t be as emotionally attached.

Talent wise maybe. What's he facing in terms of a suspension? If he's back just in time for the playoffs with fresh legs like CJ Anderson was, he could be dangerous.
