It is time to see what Shough has.

I like Rattler, he's scrappy and ballsy but he just does not have enough talent.

3 passing TDs in a game say otherwise. But but but he didn't throw a 4th. Gtfo

He's not without fault but he certainly one of the best offensive players we have. We have no idea if what he's doing Moore keeping a leash on him or himself keeping Shough on the bench. We don't know.

I don't know what to tell you. You're going to die on this hill but Rattler is what he is it seems.

He's a fine high level backup and that's what he is.

They drafted an old college QB in the early 2nd round. To not play him 6+ games this year in favor of a career backup but would be absolute malpractice

If Rattler wins the next 4 games, yes, I know it's a tall order, Shough never needs to see the field.

Nah. Rattler should get 8 games.
We know what Rattler is. They have to give Shough a good long look so they can decide what to do with that high draft pick next year.

This is probably the best time besides the bye week to pull the plug, with two teams that aren't very good (still better than us) and both being home games

Although the Giants just beat the Chargers and they DO have a very good DL.

The next real opportunity is the bye week, and unfortunately we have a late Bye

We’ve seen enough

Rattler has missed the ~3 TD throws that could have bought him more time. It’s more of a trend than fluke at this point and those opportunities are the difference in winning and losing

Shough has no reason to start this week. Anyone calling for it, are stupid because the coach definitely isn't.

Yeah I obviously agree, but I think KM is going to go with Ratt a bit longer.

I was very convinced this would be the week, but it appears I was wrong.

The reasons are:

1) Rattler hasn't been anything special and isn't the future

2) You drafted an old QB 40th overall

3) You have two consecutive home games

4) Both teams you are playing aren't good

I get it. If the coach is limiting Rattler we are fricked because Shough in the frick ain't winning shite. However if Shough comes in and sparks the team, we'll know that Rattler fricked his /coachplayers wives. Ala Joe Johnson. Might be giving ole Gayle the Rattler.

I don't care if Shough wins. I just want him to eventually play and see if he gets better as the season goes on to see what we have

I thought this would be where Shough starts

But it appears I was wrong and Rattler will get possibly a few more games

based on kellen's comments this past week, it was almost like he wants spencer to get a win before maybe switching it up.

Then you are retarded. Anyone with brains knows Shuck isn't starting anytime soon. Wtf would Rattler not get a chance when he beat out the rookie?

You keep saying this but highlighting your lack of understanding on a lot of topics. Its interesting

Why?

Beat out is lol. They were pretty even.

Its very clear what was happening. They first 4 games were brutal and it would be idiotic to throw a rookie into that type of fire. There is benefit in giving a guy a few games on the sideline before starting him. Rattler was a sacrificial lamb.

The way the schedule is laid out, games 5-6 and the bye week are the by far two most logical places to start a rookie.

Nobody knows what Shough will do or be capable of. I like many others have seen all I need to see of Ratt. He misses a good number of easy throws every game and will not push the ball down the field. Shead was wide open running down the seam at least 3 times yesterday. Cooks was wide open on the TD that hit the ground. Last week 41 was wide open early in the game and a good throw could've ended in a TD instead of punt returned for a TD when the wheels started to fall off. Ratt is nothing more than a backup. It's time to see if we have anything at QB to move forward with. I want to see Shough NOW. NOT later on down the season NOW...

How many of those times was Rattler standing in the pocket for eternity to see it? I'm curious. Not making excuses.

No they weren't. Rattler was better by far every day of the week.

No he wasn't dummy otherwise Shuck is starting this week. Guess what? He's not.

Nope. The coach is smarter than you.
