I have only ever been to one Saints game. Trying to last minute put something together to bring my wife and 3 kids to this weekend's game vs the Falcons. This would be the kid's first. Any recommendations on where to find reasonably priced tickets? Is it possible to find 5 outside the stadium on gameday? Any insight or advice to maximize the game day experience for the kids (ages 8-13) would much appreciated. Thank!

In my experience ticket prices plummet day of game, but this one feels different. Already seeing less available and prices not moving much. Keep an eye on them but it's a gamble to wait at this point.

Can always try to buy outside. Closer to kickoff the more leverage you have but scalpers will be looking for top dollar and you run the risk of fakes. Good luck!

It depends on what you mean by reasonably priced. Looking for 5 tickets together, you're probably going to have to drop at least $100 per ticket best case scenario for nose bleeds. Right now they are running about $175/per + fees on the ticket exchange.

If you're willing to go down there with the mindset that you either might not go, or may get sold fake tickets, you can try the scalping route.

If you don't want to risk that, wait until the morning of the game and try to buy them on ticket exchange.

So what are some red flags to know whether or not you have a fake ticket?

I personally wouldn't buy a printed out ticket from a scalper on the street, too easy for them to have multiple copies of it they sold to other people. They can only scan once and then are dead.

Even hard copy tickets out of the book get faked, but you have a better chance of not getting ripped off.

It not so much a “fake” ticket it’s one that was sold on nfl ticket exchange. That voids the ticket but the original is still out there. I’ve seen people get to the gate with a real ticket but can’t get in.

I've found day of can work well for 1 or 2 tickets. If you need more than 2 it might be hard find that many together, no matter what price you can pay.

You could possibly pay less on game day but why spend half the morning before your kids first game trying to buy tickets when you could hang out with them and enjoy the experience.

My advice, don't try to by 5 tickets together day of together for a big game like this. I would check prices on ticket exchange and/or stubhub constantly this week and when you find some in a section you like at the right price pull the trigger.

One way to test a ticket is to go to ticket exchange and go thru the process to resell the ticket. You have to have a ticketmaster account

The best deals vs seat prices I see now are $155-165 in the 500 section. It's the terrace but it's the boxes in front, you are in a very good sight line and don't have to go up 30 steep steps.
