Ok lets use your logic.
Winning and getting into playoffs doesn’t always lead to sustained success. I rather gamble on the higher pick and fire DA, then think this team will magically be competitive come playoff time.

Well I agree it was a dumb pick but it also proves that there's plenty of starters available from 18-30 and that "tanking" to get to 9 instead of trying for a home playoff game is kinda dumb.
