This season you may be better off not winning your division

So with only one bye this year the team with the best record that isn’t a division winner gets to play the NFC east. That’s a great warm up game for the playoffs.

Obviously you want the bye but it’s going to be much harder to get.

No crowds also eliminates any homefield advantage so it's not that bad. But give me the division still.

How that work out for the Saints in 2011? 2010 season.

It's more than likely the NFC South teams will likely face each other in the first round. Whether that be 2 vs 7 or 3 vs 6. (Green Bay still gets the nod for #1)

5th seed will likely be one from the NFC West considering their schedules and records currently

Green bay gets the nod for #1? When did we all agree to that? Id say the seahawks and bucs have just as good a shot if not better

Have you looked at the teams those teams still have to play? They can easily lose another 3-4 games especially the Seahawks who have played the easiest schedule in the NFL.

Please tell me where the Bucs can easily lose another 3-4 games. They only have 3 games left against teams with a winning record, and all at home.
Bucs:
@NYG (1-6)
Saints (4-2)
@Carolina (3-4)
Rams (5-2)
Chiefs (6-1)
Minny (1-5)
@Atl (1-6)
@Det (3-3)
Atl (1-6)

Minnesota and Atlanta still have a lot of talent. Regardless of their record they can always be somewhat competitive when it clicks.

Any of them, because it's the NFL, not college.

I think Seattle gets #1. Green Bay will end up having a shitty snow game against a good team that could bite them.
