Love this video. There is not a Q.B. in this league going into the playoffs I would rather have running this Offense.
You know he is prepared and ready to give everything he has
got. I'm confident we have got the absolute best.

Brady greatest in terms of running a system but give me Elway or Rodgers to start my team any day of the week starting a team tomorrow.

Brady tore his ACL in week 1 of 2008. Pats proceeded to go 11-5 with Matt Cassel at QB. Matt Cassel hadn't started a game since his senior year of high school before that season. But yeah, Brady is the most important part of that organization.

To accomplish what Brees has been able to do with horrendous defenses and what has mostly been a few good receivers and mostly journeyman receivers is nothing short of phenomenal.

I don't know about the GOAT, but he's in rare territory. I had to listen to the first half on the nfl Sirius channel due to some circumstances beyond my control. Dan Fouts and some guy I'm not familiar with were doing the game. Fouts couldn't say enough great stuff about Brees and his knowledge, preparation and pre-snap and post-snap execution, esp his accuracy. Similar on the NFL TV channel after the game. The talking heads on there were just effusive about Brees reading what Carolina was doing and making in-play adjustments.

i disagree.

QBs w/ 5000 yard seasons

9 times a QB has thrown for 5000+ yards. Drew has 5. There are 4 more QBs on the list.

Stat for stat Brees gets the nod hands down if you argue this objectively. If you argue subjectively in comparison to say
Tom Brady you have to ask yourself would Brees perform at least as well as Brady in Brady's shoes and Brady at least as well in Brees' shoes. I believe Brees is without a doubt in the conversation and I think most ex- pro QB's would agree. Plus they are both still active and competing at a very high level so the conversation is far from over.

Brady is definitely one of the best but he gets to much praise. Belichick deserves more credit than him. They almost always have solid defenses and he knows how to make the most of his players.

If you put Brees on the Patriots they win just as many Superbowls. Same goes for Montana, Marino and Manning. There is no GOAT.

Stat for stat Peyton Manning is the GOAT if we argue this objectively TODAY, and then Brees will/may surpass him and then someone will/may surpass Brees and so on and so forth but we also have to account for playoff performance and championships in the evaluation because to argue in good faith here, we must recognize that the quarterback is inextricably tied to the team's overall outcome for their respective seasons more than any position on the field because of the amount of control the quarterback possesses in terms of leading an offense and scoring more points than the opponent to achieve victory which is the objective of professional football at its most base level, it's been used to evaluate them almost since the inception of the NFL with people arguing how great Otto Graham was and all that. Fair or unfair that's just how people have rated quarterbacks and that's how I rate quarterbacks from an all-time perspective because of that control factor in addition to the statistical component. You don't see people using championships as a metric when they rank the skill positions and defenders from an all-time perspective, do you? I didn't think so.

LOL arbitrary arguing rules, that's why I don't deal in recontextualization and hypos because it confuses the issue and argument at hand, you argue the COLD HARD FACTS BRO and that's that because all that other "what if" crap is speculation and conjecture that can't be proven and therefore irrelevant.

Without TB12 playing, Belichick has a losing record all-time as a head coach, it's a shitty way to argue against Hoodie because I think he's the GOAT NFL HC and I shouldn't put too much weight on that statistic but facts are facts yo.

No. You can’t take out most of his career games. Would’ve he be averaging 12 wins per year without Brady? Probably not but he would’ve still had success.

I agree because so much of those losses are attributed to his time in Cleveland when he was instilling his style and system into that organization that was basically on the decline after a thrilling and successful run in the late 1980s and consisted of aging veterans, once Hoodie incorporated his brand of football player into that organization around 1994, they started to turn the corner however the operation imploded once Modell executed The Move IN THE MIDDLE of the 1995 NFL season and he PUBLICLY ANNOUNCED IT, that's gotta suck.

I'm praying we get a Saints v Patriots Superbowl so that Brees's two victories come over Manning and Brady.
