They'll be worse than the 1996 team. Been watching this team since the late 70's , and by far it was the worst season I can remember. 1980, was bad, but they put up points. The defense was terrible. 1996 team quit all together, and had absolutely no offensive weapons. Plus Renaldo Turnbull quit at halftime during the SF game. Think it was Venturi's first game after Mora "resigned"

I survived Ditka, this is a walk in the park
i survived bum phillips as a kid. the issue here is we do not have forever. loomis wasted 4 years. technically we could be rebuilt already and moore step in and take us right to the playoffs in year 1.
That is IF loomis started rebuild in 2021 like he should have. he didn't. that clown wasted 4 years post brees. it's unforgivable and egregious.
4 years wasted and NOW we start a rebuild.

My dad took me to their first game in 1967 against the Rams and have followed them ever since. If you think it’s bad now you didn’t live through the 20 years of John Mecom. He’s right up there with Joe Biden for incompetence. I think it’s time for Mickey to go but he’s light years better than anyone in the pre Benson ownership.

Bro I’ve been rooting for the saints since a little kid in the 70s.
I’ll be doing the same this year.
Since day one for me
Always will

Nah fock that. Loomis can go fock himself. I’ve been through heartaches with Montana ripping our hearts in the last two minutes and Cofer hitting the game winner. Dave butterfinger Wilson having turnovers left and right. Having dome patrol and not winning shite, team almost leaving for San Antonio. I’ll always be a fan but until shite bag Loomis is gone and Gail sells the team to someone that wants to win then fock this organization.

i know all about john mecom junior being a terrible owner. all he was worried about was taking his yacht down to dodgertown(vero beach) for training camp.

yup. very painful. we played in a great divsion the old NFC west. 49ers and rams robbed us many times of greater success.

Old candlestick park. What was funny is we had more success winning in San Fran then beating them in the dome.

Post like this seems very age specific. If you're, say, a 25 year old lifelong fan, sure, it'll be tough.
If youre as old as the Superdome itself, like me, it feels like a return to normalcy.
