This feels like they are trading both those picks to move up for a QB doesn’t it?

I really hope not as I don’t see this as a class of QB give up what we did. We just have too many other areas of need I hope this is why they did it. If they go OL, WR or DT. Try to find your new QB next year in a better class but you’d have to make another trade to get back that 1st for a QB in 2023. This is a win now team they need players ready to play day 1 with those picks.

Why would they do that to draft a QB in such a weak class. We are set at QB and backup at least for this year and probably next. They could go in a multitude of directions with those picks. In a little over 3 weeks we should have an answer.

I like Loomis' comment yesterday, 'we are getting our 2023 1st rd pick in the bldg a year earlier'.
Stockpile talent to help this team compete and win in 22.
My $$$ would be on best OT and WR available. Get them both, and move forward.

Hell, depending on the length of the AK suspension, may not even need to address RB w/ Ingram & TJJ. Wouldn't hurt to get someone else in the building, but wouldn't be a need

That comment means they are staying put to make sure they draft 2 1st round talents, and 3 in the top 50.
The reality is since he made the comment, they'll trade all 3 for a top 2 pick
