Firing Dennis Allen is meaningless if Loomis remains the GM

Loomis was/is good at some things.

The elevation of DA to Head Coach was obviously a mistake.

Allowing DA to let Carmichael totally run the offense was another mistake.

The first thing you do when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging.

Keeping DA & Carmichael is continuing to dig.

I think we need coaching that can bring some passion to the team. I know it's homer and can be ridiculed but coach Oeaux could bring some fire.

Ever see the Chicago Bears play? Take a gander a Raiders draft? Just in the division the Falcons draft an elite TE prospect followed by an elite WR prospect then a)fail to get a QB and b) hire a coach that won’t use them.

Gayle didn’t want to deal with it at all. She wanted to basically pretend Sean wasn’t really walking out the door. She even told him to take a year off and come back but that was never in his plans. This organization is flawed all the way through. Dennis Lausha is another guy that is responsible that doesn’t get mentioned a lot but he’s Gayle’s bridge to Loomis. If we are going to be a .500 team I’d rather we just suck arse so we can make a couple good draft selections to get the team turned around. This is a project but the right coach can win with these players. My first choice would be Ben Johnson from the Lions.
