Think we probably keep these. They’ve more or less all earned or shown enough to stay and contribute

Gonna need to try and retain Tuttle, Granderson, PJ, Marcus, Kwon, Jameis, Deonte and possibly Juwan. Trequan and Armstead's soft asses can go.

I don't think we can keep both Armstead and Williams. I think Williams has earned it more considering he can actually stay healthy.

Marcus Williams is by far the best and most important player on that list. He makes the defense go.

Kwon has a replacement that we drafted last year. If he won't take a low salary offer we shouldn't sign him. It would be -EV.

The sad truth about guys like Kwon and Armstead is, their backup needs to be starter caliber, which usually means $$$ towards cap. Luckily Werner is on a rookie deal, and I’m not sure Kwon is going to be highly sought after after a meh year coupled with his injury history. Ideally you bring him back cheap on a 1 year prove it, a year removed from his ACL

I agree on all counts.

The whole point of drafting well, though, is to ensure you get cheap starters. If we sit promising guys like Werner for too long, we lose that value.

If Kwon takes a low salary and 1 year (maybe with a 2nd year team option) then fine. But we can't really invest in him.

Armstead is still great but he's hurt a lot and we've invested so much in OL that we should have a replacement.

Jameis is gone. He is going to watch top 5 money for bottom half play.

Yes but have you factored in the LSU yet?

So let me get this straight...Jameis accepted 2.5 mil to play in 2021, had a solid year until he got injured, then decides that he wants top 5 money to play in 2022.

That's why he's gone
