It’s always been dead in the off season. What exactly has there been to talk about since the draft?

hellsu has a done a good job of bringing info and Victory has done his best to tell us all how much we suck.
Gmoney, Bone also bringing info and SFP dead set on cap numbers.
This is ST in June/July. It will speed - for better or worse.

I don’t think we’re going to suck, I think we’re going to be very meh and in that 7-10 to 9-8 range just like we were last season.
Regardless of my opinions on personnel moves, there’s been no change in shitty offensive philosophy and we still have the worst head coach in the league.

Offensive philosophy
I love when those buzz words are thrown around

Yeah you don't know that.

The issue with this board is more about all the mental midgets than the actual team.

Yes, the offensive philosophy will be near the same with no changes to any of the pertinent offensive staff. This is the same staff that saw fit to target Mark Ingram and David Johnson more than Alvin Kamara in games last year.

The offensive roster is transformed. We have a better qb. Better wr. Better rb. Better oline. And you have a years worth of tape of what you know doesn't work. I highly doubt it looks the same this year.

Saints stats 2022:
Kamara rush atts. 223 pass tgts.77
Ingram rush atts. 62 pass tgts.18
Johnsomrush atts. 12 pass tgts. 4
In exactly what Universe did the team see fit to target Ingram and Johnson more than Kamara?

Reading is fundamental.

I guess now you're going to argue that 2022 wasn't last year. Get some help man.

Do you have a fundamental misunderstanding of What “in games” means, lil guy? Like Tampa Bay when Ingram got like double the targets of Kamara?
Posted on 7/26/23 at 11:53 pm to VictoryHill
In the second TB game, Kamara had 12 rushes, Ingram 7. Kamara had 3 pass targets, Ingram had 5.
Kamara finished with 14 touches, Ingram 12. Neither were impactful.

Thank you for confirming the back with a far superior receiving skill set got less targets compared to a back with inferior receiving chops (ETA: including on the play that Ingram went out of bounds a yard short on). Really appreciate it.

It doesn’t prove your point. Kamara was used more in that particular game by a little and was used more on the season by A LOT.
It wasn’t double the targets and adding in some context, it didn’t even matter and it’s not why we lost.
David Johnson touched the ball 16 times the entire season. Kamara had 77 targets, second on the team. Next closest RB was Ingram with 18.
Anything else?

Oh you mean the Tampa game on 12/5/22 where Ingram got 7 pass tgts. and Kamara 5 pass tgts. And you are trying to pass this like double the targets. One game where Ingram got two more pass tgts. than Kamara?? Lil guy you are a pathological liar. And you hung yourself up in it. All the laughing meme's and all the lil guy remarks won't change the truth.
Posted on 7/27/23 at 12:22 am to hellsu
Don't get mad at me because you failed to understand what "in games" means and instead posted season-long stats trying to debunk my claim, failing to realize that I never said they got more targets on the season.
Posted on 7/27/23 at 7:07 am to VictoryHill
You said double the targets in the Tampa game. You're the one embellishing the truth. You can admit that you're wrong and still make a point yet you're doubling down and mocking. Trash post bro.

Read that again. I said LIKE double, indicating I was going off the top of my head. Reading is fundamental, sorry I don't remember random stats from a game 8 months ago and simply overall themes of the less talented back being targeted more. Regardless, there isn't a universe where Mark Ingram should get more looks than Kamara, ever.
