Because we would look like even bigger idiots.

So your goal is to have a winning season every year then get knocked out in the first playoff game?

Tomlin will coach Girard playground 7-8 tot football, before he thinks about coaching the Saints. I'm not sure why anyone thinks it's a great job. This is the worst opening in the league. A complete rebuild and overhaul from top to bottom is needed.

The Saints probably don't have the money to lure the away the manager from the local McDonald's.... so how the hell would they afford Tomlin??

Noll lasted 23 years and Cowher 15; Tomlin just finished year 18. Its not like it would be unprecedented for the Steelers to make a change at that point. He has the best regular season winning percentage of the three, but by far the worst playoff record, and the only one that is sub-500 in the playoffs.
It wouldn't surprise me if they kick the tires on a potential change. The team doesn't really have much of an identity anymore, and no one is afraid to play the Steelers.

Hell No. Tomlin is nothing but a good regular season coach. We need to look beyond that. News the time. It’s all or nothing. This hire will determine what happens to us for years.

Exactly, what I am saying. Good regular season coach but when post season comes he sucks.

I like it.
Tomlin is great at making chicken salad. And we need that right now.

Why not both, if necessary?
If Payton is worth a 1st, He damn sure is worth two 3rd round picks

Don’t assume other NFL franchises have the same ineptitude level as do the Saints.

Fantasy. Pure fantasy. Tomlin wouldn’t even do the interview if permission were granted to do it.

I'd love to see Tomlin land here, but I don't think it's useful to chase after a guy that's not even on the market. If he were interested in leaving the Steelers and had interest in coming to NOLA then there are ways that could get leaked to the team but short of that, why waste time.
