The entire saints defense could stand still after the snap and still be called for PI.

During the 2019 season, this happened:

In the first four games following the Saints bye, the Saints opponents have 21 first downs by penalty.

The Saints have 2 first downs by penalty.

Saints opponents in this four game stretch have committed 21 penalties for 146 yards.

In contrast, the Saints have committed 42 penalties for 410 yards.

The Saints opponents have 91.3% of the first downs awarded by penalty.

In contrast, the Saints have been awarded only 8.7% of the first downs by penalty.

If there’s one thing that pisses me off more than anything, it’s refs that dictate a game. I don’t mind losing because our team sucks or blew it that week, but if we lose because the refs are fricking flag happy and give us 100 more penalty yards than the other team, drives me fricking crazy.

Part of the reason why the Saints have quit on the year is that they know that, no matter how hard they play, there will be some weirdly and astoundingly bad call or series of calls to snatch the victory away.

It's only human nature to ease up a bit once you realize that this will be a Lost Season.

Nah, they suck and have a QB that should have retired last year.

they would never do it EVER, but if payton had balls he would gather his team and just walk off the field, then in after game interviews say the NFL is engaged in cheating and rigging game outcomes and he saw no reason to continue with a fixed game.

the NFL would have to answer questions and create the appearance that they stopped rigging games in such blatantly biased fashion, but they would just rig games in a more subtle fashion

but at least payton would have started a conversation, isnt that what the SJW on this team do best?

Its what happens when you play against Brady, Rodgers and a new stadium in Las Vegas.

Rodgers won a number of close games in 2019 with 4th quarter sustained penalty drives.

Rodgers won the Lions game last year on a horrible roughing the passer call that single handily won them the game. That one one call got them the bye instead of us
