The Saints can’t let Kaden Elliss walk

Give him the deal we gave Demario to first come from the Jets. 3 years $24 million. Werner is so good but he gets hurt a lot and Davis isn’t getting younger. I think when Demario hangs it up Werner can slide into his spot and Elliss take Werner’s spot or he could take over Demario’s spot himself. I just don’t think Loomis values LB as much as other areas and I don’t think he’s going to offer him more than $3-$4 million a year. Some other team will give him double that.

Ellis has his own injury problems but he’s solid and we are obviously a better team with him. I hope we are able to keep him.

He’s versatile and very smart. That showed from his college film. The light finally came on for him last year when he was finally 100% healthy and he proved he’s absolutely a starting NFL LB. I would argue we need 3 starters at LB especially with Carolina being a run heavy team. I think they are hoping Demarco Jackson can fill Elliss’ spot though.

Grab one of the Tulane LB’s in the 4th. Those dudes were pretty impressive

The Tulane kid was impressive but he’s on the small side. Really looks like a safety/LB hybrid. If he could add 10-15 lbs of solid muscle he could be a good player. I think his name is Dorian Williams. I would absolutely take a chance on Micah Baskerville for in the late rounds or UDFA.

With him, Werner, and if we can get some guys on offense line Adam Thielen…. we’ll have some great locker room guys and leaders.

No, they can't keep letting really good young, up and coming talent walk like they've done the past few seasons in the forms of Trey Hendrickson, CJ Gardner, and now this kid, NO WAY. Imagine their defense if they had kept those guys?? Smh
