The no-call is responsible for our bad cap situation

If we had won in 2018, we wouldn’t have gone balls-to-the-wall the last 2 years and our cap situation would be much better. The last 2 years were mainly about chasing what was stolen in 2018.

Yeah I stopped investing so much of my personal capital and time into the Saints (and the NFL) the moment that no-call happened. The NFL tipped their hand bigtime in that game; they showed that their interest of preserving the purity of competition is always secondary to growing their brand and markets.
That game was 100% about drumming up interest in the over-saturated football market of LA. The NFL gets reminded every 20-30 years that LA is not a pro football town. It never has been and it never will be. The LA Rams will fail there today just like it failed in the past. In decisions about teams and their locations, the NFL is a capitalistic parasite that operates like a locust, moving from one city to the next. I'll never give them another dime or minute of absolute attention as long as I live.
I watch these games on free streams while doing other activities that are more important and more interesting to me. I used to have season tickets and have to travel 6+ weeks out of the year to New Orleans.

I went from a big NFL fan. Getting Sunday ticket, playing in 3+ fantasy football leagues, watching a lot of NFL network to just watching Saints fan that day.

The NFL is a business. They don’t care about anything but making money. This is the number one reason that it doesn’t matter. The NFL is trash

Honestly P5 college is worse, a lot of those guys don’t get a degree worth a damn. Lots of people making plenty of money off them though. The bowl system and the bowl lackeys are absolutely the scum of the earth with that.
