Just wondering.
I like to think that I'm a pretty good writer.
I was trying to convey a simple thought in the second and third sentences; however, I didn't state it clearly enough for my satisfaction. That simple thought is that even though I consider my writing to be pretty good, it's what I do for a living, I couldn't write that blog as well as he did.
And the blog isn't so much genius in some highbrow, esoteric sense, as it is a completely visceral articulation of the frustration of being a Saints fan. It reads like one of the layers of Fight Club, like someone who just keeps pounding the shite out of someone.
It is beautiful in a carnal, brutal, and inescapably compelling way: "read this and frick you."
ETA: And none of that has anything to with the OP being black. Again, it was just a question.
