Miller’s lack of tempo and explosiveness between the tackles could turn him into a grinder against the speed of NFL defenses. His restricted stride length provides greater control to cut early in the run, but it works against him when he needs to hit the gas and stride past linebackers

Well if he’s a track and field star he’s destined for NFL glory.

Go watch the lsu TAMU game. He had absolutely no reason to go play that game. Was banged up with that shite team not going to a bowl. Any other running back woukd have sat out that game for injury risk.

Dude single handidly won the game by himself. That showed a lot to me.

What it showed was more a collective lack of heart from the LSU defense.

Honestly, Miller's Nfl.com bio, including the "grinder" label, reminds me of another pre-draft evaluation of a RB from years ago...Emmitt Smith. "Lugger" was the actual prediction for Smith.

Fair enough, but I go to unknown things possible, interviews, attitude, and different things like that that coaches have access to that we don’t, but you are right on paper he looks better

Miller is very deceptively good. He reminds me of watching LT at TCU. He always looks slow but when the play is over he has picked up 10-15yard. Patient runner that uses his blockers and then barrels forward in a scrum.
