it "should" happen, but no matter how big the lead is drew will never come off the field willingly and payton will NEVER tell him to "sit down, its pretty much over so take the rest of the game off" 
this certainly needs to be the mindset going forward to pull brees out of the game whenever its situational but that seems to be a point of friction with drew never wanting to stop competing
