That Dalton TD strike to Olave was at least 50 yds. in the air

I’m really happy about today and everything but folks need to calm down.
The Rams are a team similar to us. Cap strapped, no picks, and several star players. Yet they were 3-6 coming into today. We beat them pretty easily but let’s not pretend we are about to go on a run. We beat Niners and Brady then I’ll gladly eat crow here

Dalton has always had a cannon. I loved him coming out of college. He willed TCU to many wins just on his back.

But I was told by some losers who post here that Jameis has higher upside because HE HAVE STRONG ARM. STRONG ARM GIVE JAMEIS HIGHER UPSIDE. JAMEIS THE BEST.

No offense but would you feel better if I deleted the post and the link? Remember this team and fanbase hasn't had much to hang on to the last couple of seasons particularly due to horrifying injury stats. We've had to weather the retirement of our HOF QB (yes eventually it had to happen). Then our longstanding coach (and front office) not only fails to procure a real long term replacement but then rips the carpet out from under the team and the fanbase by suddenly up and leaving. So you have to take whatever joy you can find, whether it's one game at a time or even one highlight at a time.

At first I thought he had overthrown Olave but then 12 turned on the after burners and it turned out to be one hell of a play

Is that impressive for an NFL QB? (It's not) I was honestly surprised he did run backwards and take another sack.

Dalton said in the post presser that Olave was right where he was supposed to be. This is why it's so important for the routes to be precise. When they drafted Olave they said they wanted a pro ready precise route runner. It appears that's what they got.

I bet if you were to ask a random NFL QB that question they would laugh in your face.

They would because they can all throw it 60+ and they nearly all do it every game. Taysom might be the only "QB" that can't
