He is going to get Dennis Allen fired and I can’t thank him enough.

Loomis needs to be canned as well. He tied his future to Allen when he compared him to Tom Landry/Bill Walsh. His decision making ability is compromised.

Yall can just stop with this line of thinking. There isn't a GM in the league with more job security than Mickey Loomis. He would have to find a way to make the saints lose money before Gayle would even consider the possibility of having a conversation where Loomis is replaced.
For better or (most likely) worse, we are stuck with Loomis until he decides to retire.

One does not exclude the other. Both DA and Loomis are the problem.
The difference? Loomis could fire DA and dumb luck his way into hiring another Sean Payton, drafting a great QB, and have a winning franchise again. Dennis Allen could have Pat Mahomes as his QB and still go 9-8.

You misunderstood me. I said he NEEDS to be canned. Not that he will.
I also am fairly confident he could do everything short of banging one of Gayle's granddaughters and still keep his job.

50% of the problem, other 50 is Loomis.

He’s also going to get Carr killed so he’ll have that going for him too.

But who was responsible for drafting Penning?

Loomis could marry Gayle and become an official owner instead of a defacto one; and then hire a new GM. This suggestion is meant to be fan fiction.

Add Mickey Loomis to that, and I'd be satisfied.

He may be our worst draft pick since Sean Knight and for the same reason. His college scouting report looked impressive because he dominated against inferior competition.

quote:He has been a joke for a long long while. Our holes get worse by the year. Not addressing this OL and bringing in Carr is silly You only bring in Carr if you think you have a shot at making a run, and then you must spend to get the guys around him. Carr may be ok if we could protect.
