They were going to go to the corner, but that receiver was covered really well.

this will be a slow drawn out blowout

Brees must understand that there is no margin for error when you have to rely on that defense to bail you out.

I wonder how many have noticed that the Texans can do nothing but kick FGs all of a sudden.

we need to make it 20-14 at halftime

I'd be happy with that, but even more happy with 16-14.

Knowing that we get the ball to start the second half is big as well.

3 straight red zone stops by our defense. We are improving guys. If we can manage to eliminate the big plays of 20+ yards, and stop Tate for minimal gains, not getting carried down the field or have tackles broken we are good to go.

Gotta cover the TE and Johnson and we are in business. Our own offense if they can score a TD here before the half will have confidence and momentum and start the second half with the ball.

Texans are playing their best and the Saints offense is failing.

It's only 16-7.

Get the running going. Get Sproles going.

And stop the big plays.

Second half-adjustments.

already writing them off in week 3

not writing them off... you must not read real well... but yes, i do think that they will fall short of the ultimate goal of the Super Bowl... we just simply do not have the defense.....

and honestly the super bowl is all i care about.... don't care that we make the playoffs.... or win a game in the playoffs.... or have a "good" season.... for me, it's a world championship or nothing.... and i don't think this team, as they stand now, can win a Super Bowl...

I don't think this will be a blowout. The offense has shown it can move the ball. Saints offense just has to keep their heads about them (which Drew will take care of) and spread the ball around.
