TC is a scrimmage today…Ratt is starting.

We won’t know anything until the preseason games.

Even then, you don’t know what you have.

In no way do I believe Rattler is a legitimate starter, but I have to say he has had a decent camp. BUT, I believe he has to really BLAST the other two out of the water to really earn the starting job for a real length of time. He has not done that (to this point anyway) and Shough is starting to progress.

If Rattler does start the first few games, I believe it will be because they don’t want Shough facing the hardest part of the schedule before he is “ready”. If that’s the case , then I will think less of the pick. The entire premise for them wanting Shough is that he was advanced, had handled adversity, and NFL ready. So if you have to “protect his confidence” by letting Rattler take the bullets……..then you obviously don’t believe in him like you say you do.

No matter what, they are both Saints……so I will root for either guy and hope the best for them. But IMO, I think they should give Shough the longest runway they can, so they can have a long enough evaluation of whether they need to draft a QB in the 1st next yr. You won’t get that with him on the sidelines.

I like CKM, but we all need to remember that he may end up being a great HC……but he’s a brand nw (YOUNG) HC so there will likely be some missteps along the way
