this may be the worst argument for Hill, and they were some doosies yesterday.

No. Thats not it.

No one is calling him a savior and no one said his play was flawless, but the board is in fact littered with TS hate and "start Taysom threads". You can deny it all you want.

What Taysom did when he came in to throw a few darts was nice. I was like, okay...let's roll.

The only issue I have is that Payton put Siemian back in. That didn't make any sense to me. If you are going to let Taysom spark the offense, let him spark the offense. Not that I have issues with Siemian and his style of play, but putting Taysom in then taking him out is just kind of dumb.

It was like when the Falcons put Felipe Franks in for two plays...what the frick was that?

I seriously question the sanity of anyone who watched that game and thinks QB play was our problem

So if Taysom gets the start this week, you’re questioning the sanity of Payton?

That's not what he's saying and you know it.

I have no qualms w saying Trevor played very well for us. I still have no qualms in saying Taysom should start for us. The two are not mutually exclusive. You can deny that all you want. Fact is likely that Taysom wasn’t starting cause of the health of coming back from his concussion. They didn’t throw to him once and only allowed 1 rushing attempt. No touches for 2 or conversion etc

They had one safety high and the rest of the defense within 5 yards of the LOS in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. They were trying to stop the run and have no respect for our WRs.

It is. There are folks that think Taysom should be starting and our sanity got questioned

You have to let Taysom throw it a little or else he becomes completely predictable.

Same reason teams continue to run even when its not working. Atl rushed for 34 on the day yesterday and was still trying to pound the rock in the 4th quarter.

This whole thread is dumb. We dropped a frick load of balls, got an insane number of penalties, and gave up a bomb at the end. The loss had nothing to do with TS or Taysom.

I think what you mean to say is; there are a bakers dozen "Bench TS and start Taysom" threads on here by the very dumbest cross section of posters, when the problem was clearly elsewhere.

You can deflect arguments all you want. Taysom is better than Siemian.

Nothing happened yesterday to reinforce that opinion. And dont you dare talk about fumbles. Taysom fumbles a lot.

When you've reached this level of nitpick, you have to admit that he played a great game. The receivers blew the game for us.

No.

But who does?

If I told you before the game that our 3rd string QB would shake off 6 drops, a fumble, and 74 yards in penalties to throw for 250 and 2 TDs, lead us back from a 3TD deficit in the back end of the 4th, would you be disappointed?

The blame here lies elsewhere... Receivers, linemen, and Adebo and Williams at the end.

I have never seen a Saints team under SP this pitiful at

paychecks.

this ^^^^^^^^
if our receivers caught those drops they had both hands on then TS was around 150% rating in that game

i saw only 2 passes from him that were bad, one over throw and one that was way too low, otherwise its pathetic that millionaires being paid to catch balls catch even do that with easy catches
