Superdome parking question

Can someone let me know which gates At the Superdome are for those wanting to buy the same day parking pass. Also, what time does the garage open?
According to the Saints website it looks like the paved outdoor lots next door to smoothie King center are same day pay to park. It doesn't really mention anything about the Superdome itself nor does it mention what time those lots open.
I also just thought about parking in the garage on poydras that has Dave & busters on the 6th floor. For my entire adult life I'm basically parked on the corner of St Joe's and St Charles for free and just walked to the dome. That also puts me right back on the interstate with hardly no traffic on tchoupitoulas. Unfortunately, I'm not street parking in New Orleans anymore.
Any help is appreciated

Those garages are a nightmare to get out of. Took me 1 hour+ last time. I'm parking on the street or some lot next time.

Yeah I hear ya. I just don't want to return to my car to find it with a busted window or not there at all

Would rather park in dome garage and not have my car broken into.

Put a sign on your window to please not break! No belongings inside! Geaux Saints!

Don’t park at a surface lot for any reason.
Especially the ones on Poydras.
If you do, roll all your windows down and leave your doors unlocked.

You’re obviously a rookie. Don’t park in garages

I use Harrah’s or Dave and Buster’s

The dome garage all depends on the spot you get. The deeper into the dome it is, the longer it will take to get out. You also have to deal with the idiots who insist on backing into their spot even though the dome garage is one way slanted spots. Still, if you can get into the dome garage, do it; no matter where you go its going to be a wait to get out, and the dome garage usually spits you out at a pretty good spot to get away from downtown pretty fast all things considered.
If not there, there are several other garages in the area. The old New Orleans Centre garage is there, as well as one across from rampart. But, if you don't want to do that, there are plenty of garages downtown to choose from.
